We stand by it regardless.
As boudoir photographers, we do not pose all body types the same way. And we never will.
We've been told it is "anti body positive" because we refuse to pose all our girls in the exact same poses. Here's why we think that's ridiculous:
Someone my height cannot pull off certain poses that call for runway model height. A curvy girl can pull off a cat stretch pose better than someone with a track runners build. A thin athletic body can pull off certain silhouette poses better than someone with a body builder physique. Someone who is 5'8" can't fit into the same chair position as someone who is 4'11". That's just not reasonable.
Not all poses are meant to flatter every body type - and that's okay!
When you book with us, we spend our time playing up your absolute best angles. We are not going to shove your body type into a one-size-fits-all box. Your session is catered to YOU. Why would it be catered to someone who is half your height? A head taller than you? Twice your build? Or half your build?
To us, we feel like we achieve true body positivity by understanding we are all super different and playing off of what we love most about our unique bodies. We celebrate the things that make us who we are and don't force ourselves to fit into what someone else does.
